We collect no personal data whatsoever. Liftbook has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting and no telemetry. Nothing you enter is transmitted off your device.
All data you create — workouts, sets, exercises, routines, achievements and body-weight entries — is stored and processed entirely on your device to power the app's features (logging, insights, streaks and search). It is never used for any other purpose.
We share nothing, because we hold nothing. There are no third parties, servers or partners that receive your information. Export and backup files are created only when you choose, and are shared only to the destination you pick via your device's share sheet.
Your training data is stored locally using Hive, with sensitive values (such as body-weight entries) held in an AES-encrypted database whose key is kept in the Android Keystore via flutter_secure_storage. Because data never leaves the device, there is no transmission to intercept.
Data is retained on your device until you delete it. You can remove everything instantly from Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.
Liftbook has no sign-up, login or user accounts. You do not provide an email, phone number or any identifier to use the app.
Liftbook does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. As no personal information is gathered from any user, the app is compliant with COPPA and similar child-privacy regulations.
Because your data lives only on your device, you have complete control at all times. You can view, edit, export or permanently delete any and all data directly within the app — no request to us is required.
